Mid-West Electric was hired by Rice University to upgrade switchgear that would eventually power up to 80% of the campus. The current gears, and building the gears and breakers were housed in were out of date, old, and not up to code.

Energy Institute High School
New Construction – 114,000 sqft multi-building campus magnet school.
Energy Institute High School is a magnet high school in the Third Ward area in Houston, Texas. It is a part of the Houston Independent School District and is the first high school in the United States that focuses on the energy industry.
